2014 Coast Range Estate Pinot Noir

2014 Coast Range Estate Pinot Noir
92 Points, Wine Advocate

The 2014 Coast Range Estate opens up with herbal notes, forest floor, blueberries, and cedar.  Fresh herbs are balanced out by rich cherries on the nose. The palate is a heightened version of the nose showcasing ample notes of blueberries, Herbs de Provence, cedar, and soft mushroom tones. The tannins are strong, yet polished - almost chewy. Aged 16 months in French oak, this wine has great complexity and will surely stand to age for some time. The wine is a classic, showcasing the best of both worlds that Oregon Pinot has to offer: beautiful new world fruit balanced perfectly with old-world charm.
