2021 Pashey Ribbon Ridge Blanc de Blancs
92 Points, James Suckling
“Aromas of citrus and stone fruit, but at its core this is a mineral-driven wine and a wonderful example of what Oregon traditional method chardonnay can be. A chalky texture with flavors of lemon zest and peach skin on the palate. Medium-bodied with bright acidity and a long, rich finish. Drink or hold.” - James Suckling

Production Notes
2021 Vintage Notes: It was a hot and dry year in the Willamette Valley with lower fruit set in the summer and a historic heat event in late June. By the time the month of September rolled around, the heat had dissipated and cooler overnight temperatures returned to the valley. For the better part of a month, we were blessed with a classic cool-climate harvest that allowed clusters to ripen at a slow pace, keeping their natural acids high while sugars slowly reached optimal picking levels. Even though lower yields resulted in less wine than normal, most vintners feel the high quality of the 2021 vintage will more than make up for it.
