Production Notes
2019 Vintage Notes: Snow in the vineyards of Walla Walla through February and March made pruning vineyards a difficult task and delayed bud break. A fairly mild summer, with very few heat spikes, produced a later than normal véraison and a later start to harvest. In a unique twist, grapes achieved phenolic ripeness (flavor maturity) ahead of sugar ripeness, which created wines with great flavors and better natural acidity.
