2017 Cabernet Sauvignon
Dense and full-bodied on the palate, yet possessing enough refinement with its generous fine-grained tannins and well-placed acidity, this is to be enjoyed over the next 20 years.
Crafted exclusively of Cabernet Sauvignon from Walla Walla’s famed Seven Hills vineyard, this bottling represents our 5th vintage working with fruit from this amazing site. The Seven Hills Vineyard was first planted in 1980 and in 1994 began operating as a partnership between Gary Figgins (Leonetti), Norm McKibben (Pepper Bridge), Marty Clubb (L’Ecole No. 41), and Bob Rupar. In 2004, Wine & Spirits named Seven Hills as “One of the Great Vineyards in the World”
The wine was aged for 21 months before bottling in August 2019.
