Wonderfully expressive notes of fresh blackberry fruit, tobacco, & espresso; multi-layered palate of warm plums, licorice and violets all framed within velvety tannins.
A bordeaux-style blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot from three of Walla Walla’s best vineyard sites. This year’s blend consists of 41% Merlot from Figgins Vineyard; 46% Cabernet Sauvignon from the famed Seven Hills Vineyard; and 13% Petit Verdot from Leonetti’s Loess Vineyard (which surrounds the Leonetti winery). This is our fifth year of vinifying fruit from these three terrific vineyard sites.
Barrels were aged for 21 months before bottling in August 2019.
