Triplets 12-pack horizontal/vertical
From 2013 to 2016, Riesling passionistas Chehalem, Brooks and Trisaetum traded fruit from each of their estate vineyards; allowing winemaker James Frey to craft a dry Riesling from each site. The resulting 12 wines represent 3 unique and different soils…from 4 unique and different vintages.
Only one barrel of each wine was made and only a few 12-pack horizontal/verticals are being offered to the public.
Can you taste the soil differences within a vintage? Can you taste how the vintages change the resulting wine? Is the hand of the winemaker more important than site? Try it and see for yourself...
Chehalem Corral Creek Estate – glacier based soils
Brooks Estate – volcanic based soils
Trisaetum Ribbon Ridge Estate – ocean based soils
